Detcon1 will be the North American Science Fiction Convention (NASFiC) in 2014, the official North American convention held when WorldCon is overseas. The NASFiC is an all-inclusive science fiction and fantasy convention with extensive programming, many special events, and round-the-clock activities for all ages of fans and pros interested in the genre.
Detcon1 is an all-volunteer-run event hosted by the non-profit group Driving the Future, Inc. All the members will participate in making Detcon1 a NASFiC to remember.
